Global Governance

Global Governance.  Why these two words scare people?

Global= the whole planet and governance= to administer, to manage, to lead.

Try to historise globalization.. it is difficult because as far as you go back in history you notice that there is always a point further of the existence of globalization.

Try to globalize history .. easier, right ? Choose a period and then describe the situation. To understand the situation, which can be a war, a dictatorship, a declaration, you should start analyzing the global incidents during that period and some before and after.

Check nature … you can also see globalization in nature. Migratory birds. They know where they have to go because they care for their survival!

Check your family, check your school, check your municipality, check your church, check your government, check your state .. check and keep checking..

There is the leader, there is the smart, the funny, the bad, the depressed, the hardworker, the lazy, the sneaky, the hot, the plump, the thin, the white, the chocolate, the silent, the loud, the cyclothymiac, the lover, the idealist, the capitalist, the critic, the smily, the nationalist, the anarchist, the super-natural, the …

There is everything and if there is not near us, we try to find it somewhere else further and at the end somewhere else in the world!

This why the international companies succeed and rule. Because they combine the advantages of each territory, of each state, of each nation and they try to keep the disadvantages out.

So, global governance will try to do in a way the same. We all face the problem of environmental changes and we all should do something about that. Because if the West part of Earth decreases the CO2 emissions and the East part increases them, then the result will be ultimately the same! Global coordination then … what’s wrong with that ?

But of course what matters is economy and money … ah these money … they rule the world and if someone denies it, he is either “ideal” or idealist! And yes we all face economic problems as in every part of the world you meet “THE rich”, “THE poor” and THE middle”. Isn’t it economy then a global problem?

And what about the conspiracy theories that speak about some elitists who want to rule the world .. some bankers who want to implant us a chip and digitalize everything ? Well, maybe this is nature’s plan for the upper being. To globalize ourselves in order to survive.  Because I am sure there were elitists back in 1910-30 who maybe thought of a global government but they are all dead now! And global governance differs from global goverment!

It is true that power corrupts that is why people in power should change often, in order to eliminate the possibility of being corrupted. But we should never forget that people in power are also people.

And yes it is difficult to understand how disciplinary Chinese are and how egocentric Americans are and how rebel Greeks are and how cold Finish are,  but these are stereotypes and we know that!! There are also disciplinary and egocentric and cold Greeks and there are also easygoing and rebel Finish people. There are plenty combinations out there … check!

At the very end all are labels that we put in order to identify each other.

We are all the same, isn’t that obvious?
